If You Have Faith

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith.” Matthew 21:22 ESV

When we pray to God, he expects faith. Without faith, it is impossible to please Him. Prayers that lack faith may return void because we don’t truly believe in the promises and character of God. When we doubt his goodness, we doubt that He will do what we ask. As you petition God, believe in his character and motive. At the same time, you must also trust that He is all-knowing and that your prayers are submitted to His will!

What to Pray:
God, help me to pray accordingly to your will; you’re good, pleasing, and perfect will! If there is any area of doubt in my heart, would you remove it and replace it with faith? I want to ask for things in prayer that are pleasing to you. In Jesus name, Amen.

The Prayer of Jabez:
Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh [if] that you would bless me [indeed] and enlarge [Expand] my territory, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm [evil] so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. 1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV, NIV, MSG
