Nothing is Impossible
“For nothing will be impossible with God.” Luke 1:37 ESV
When we think about being with someone, it means to be in their presence. It emphasizes nearness. When we get into God’s presence and come alongside Him in his plans and desires, anything is possible. Nothing is impossible with God--in His presence. In the story of Mary being visited by an angel of the Lord and Jesus’ birth being foretold, Mary responds in verse 38: “…behold I am a servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word”. She encountered God and then responded in faith, even though it seemed impossible. When we get into God’s presence, He speaks to us and we work with and alongside Him. When we believe what He is saying and we draw near to Him with faith, He can do anything
What to Pray:
God, we put all our faith in you. It’s not about what we can do but it’s about getting in your presence and walking alongside you, hearing you, and being closer to you. Thank you that in your presence, nothing is impossible. I pray that as I get into your presence and I come close to you and partner with what you are speaking, that you will do the impossible in my life, family, and city. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
The Prayer of Jabez:
Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, “Oh [if] that you would bless me [indeed] and enlarge [Expand] my territory, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm [evil] so that it might not bring me pain!” And God granted what he asked. 1 Chronicles 4:10 KJV, NIV, MSG
